I know people say that cats do not mind the cold weather but I find that they will definitely use blankets and boxes when it gets cold. I put a box with a blanket from Blessing Blankets Made With Love under my car and Manny has been in there all day. #feralcatsneedlovetoo #feralcatsofinstagram #feralcats
Bunny is trying to stay warm π. I love those cat beds that we got a few years ago. I hope they will survive another winter. I put them away in March/April so they will last.
Miss Dixie is one of our long term fosters who enjoys your kind donations π. She has been with us since April 2017. She used to live at a plant nursery in West Palm Beach, FL where there were many cats and not enough food. The shy cats were not able to compete for the food. Manuel came from that same place. He passed away years ago but I still remember him fondly. Dixie is shy and she only allows me to pet her when she is eating. She loves wet food and goes to every single plate to eat the last morsels. She does have plenty of dry food (two different kinds) to eat during the day.We are very grateful for your continued support β€οΈ
Thanks to Linda Bartus, these 2 precious kittens are warm and free of fleas tonight π They are sleeping in one of the beautiful blankets donated to us by Blessing Blankets Made With Love. Linda drove hours to come to Palm Beach County to help the poor homeless cats suffering in our streets. The cats need people to go and check on them, regardless of what the feeders and the community say. I knew there was a sick cat with mange there and I had given the feeder Revolution for the cat but Linda discovered there was another sick cat in worse condition. The feeder also told Linda there were kittens in the back of the property but that they were just a couple of days old. Thankfully, we checked on them and saw that they were older, terribly anemic and had dozens of fleas crawling on them. I decided to keep them for the night instead of taking them to ACC late in the day. Is there a local rescue who could take these little ones? I know people are going to ask about the mom. We did not see her. If anyone is able to help trap her and fix her, please let me know. There are more cats there that need TNVR.
