Animal Friends Project of Delray Beach, FL focuses on helping homeless cats in low income areas. We practice TNRM Trap Neuter Return Monitor of community cats. We help sick and injured animals by providing veterinary care and adoption whenever possible.
I was only able to trap one cat last night 😭. There were lots of cats but one was nursing and I didn’t want to trap her. I got another one but he was eartipped already. I had to leave with just one. I guess it is better than none….
Anyone trapping near 10th Ave. North and Haverhill in Greenacres, FL who can help fix some cats?![]()
I went by a house that has 4 outdoor cats that need to be spayed/neutered. The mom is friendly and they are usually very hungry so it might not be difficult to trap or contain. I only saw 2 cats yesterday but the lady that goes to feed them said there were 4 cats. ![]()
Lady that feeds them does not live there and says some days she is not able to go. Not sure if other people feed them on those days. ![]()
I have many other places that I need to help so I am not able to help these cats in Greenacres.![]()
Thank you!
I am so grateful to @bellaspromisepetrescue for taking this injured cat into their rescue this morning. They provided urgent medical care for him and he is now with one of their wonderful fosters. Tobby is a friendly community cat fed by an amazing person who has helped dozens of cats in the south area of Lake Worth Beach, FL. She does not know what happened to Tobby but she was able to put him in a trap and asked for help. She could not afford to take him to the vet and did not have space to foster him. I posted on Facebook and many people pledged to donate to the rescue taking Tobby. ![]()
I am thankful for Bella’s help. Please support them so they can continue to help other deserving cats in our area.
I was able to get 5 cats for spay/neuter surgeries at Peggy Adams. Three came from outside the mobile home of a kind, older gentleman who is getting sick. I always hear so many sad stories when I visit the places where cats live outside 😢 ![]()
At another place, people told me that an old man who was feeding cats had died. He lived alone. I saw the cats outside his trailer, waiting for him to feed them like he used to do. I asked a neighbor to feed them for now and hopefully a kind person will move there.
Thank you so much Furry Friends Jupiter for taking this very friendly mom and her five kittens. She comes from a mobile home park in West Palm Beach, very close to Animal Care and Control. The feeder called me, late at night, to see if I could go and get a cat that seemed to be ready to give birth. I had been there a few times recently and I had not seen this cat. I was annoyed but decided to go. I am so glad I went because she had the kittens overnight. The mom and kittens are adorable ❤️ I could look at them all day. ![]()
I hope they will find great homes. I am so grateful to everyone who helps the homeless cats in our community.
